Posting Guidance and Instructions.

As of the end of August 2008 we decided moving forward with the web site, to move from the blog system to the a Forum's based system.  It is just to facilitate both growth and our efforts in building a better web site for the community to use and share.  The forums are fully moderated.

This site and the information contained within it and related sites does not constitute proper legal advice. You should consult a Welfare Rights Worker of Solicitor for proper legal advice. We accept no liability for how you use this information.

The site is about empowering the HIV+ community to share its common experience. Not everyone's situation is the same therefore please do not assume your situation will be the same as any mentioned on this site.  See the disclaimer at the bottom of the page.

Although comments are moderated. Comments and any view expressed therein remain the responsibility of the originating author, do not necessarily reflect views held by ThCell and accordingly we accept no liability. This facilitates discussion within the HIV community.

Our aim is to be a resource for all people living in the UK with HIV, regardless of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, cultural background.

We take your confidentiality very seriously.

If you have any enquiry with regard to this please email me - john@tcell.org.uk.

How do I post a comment?

At the bottom of most entries you will see the space for you to place your comment. You can post anonymously.  As all entries are moderated you will not see your comment straight away.  We will check the content and approve. From that point on your comment will appear at the bottom of the last entry for that subject.

Why do you moderate ?

We moderate to ensure as far as practicable so that for example no abusive statements etc. reach the site. Since I started using the web for this project I have only had to change 1 comment and that was to change a quoted source from a 3rd party to the original source of a piece of quoted research.

I cannot see my comment.

Your comment has not been moderated as yet or contains information we feel we could not publish as you did so anonymously without providing an email address.

You post comments you receive via email or other sources, do you have permission from the originator?

We always ask those who we deal with via email or other sources, if we can post their experience.  At the end of the day it is not for us to make that decision. We will typically edit any information so as to remove as far as practicable any identifying information unless the person has given us consent to publish this data.

We take confidentiality seriously and strive to get the balance right.

If you have any comments, issues or suggestions please feel free to email me - john@tcell.org.uk
